Kia ora - well - it's back to the future for Rafters!

The name "Rafters" has been brought back to life. We're using the original name for this Wanaka Restaurant at the Mount Aspiring Hotel.

There's a new menu, a new wine list and new concepts of bar food and snacks, but still the same old friendly service that makes us a dining favourite with the Wanaka locals. Ask about our Locals Discount  - you get 10% off all food & beverages when you dine with us.

However, you don't have to just dine in the restaurant - we have the separate bar with a BIG TV screen with a bar snacks menu from 11am to 6pm and bar meals from 6pm to 9pm. Come and see us - you'll love it.

Our wine list is unashamedly New Zealand in flavour and we feature some top Central Otago wines - my personal favourites are the two superb pinot gris, the aromatic gewürztraminer and all of the pinot noirs. It's fun matching the wine to the menu - or in my case, the menu to the wine list.
